Feature Creep / Lights that can be moved by player or enemy

I'd like to be able to have a light that is carried by an enemy in a dark room that will illuminate the area around him. I'd like to be able to see the light around a corner so that I can tell that an enemy is coming. I'd like to be able to place that light in a lantern or a torch flame or for that matter any other object and make it glow and light up an area. Maybe even evil eyes that light up what's in front of them, that would be cool. Glowing objects, maybe glow sticks, that could be dropped in an unlit hallway in a bread crumbs fashion, so that you can mark where you've been and also be able to see well enough to navigate a dark labyrinth.

This was hyped for reloaded then back peddled to a whisper. Not sure it will happen. at least not till they focus on lights properly
an unquenchable thirst for knowledge of game creation!!!

It would be nice to see lights and shadows get some love but I guess now dx11 is on hold it'll have to wait for some love from the vote board
