I had a stab at creating a script for friendly characters. I had some limited success. The characters will train their weapons on the enemy and tend not to shoot the player until he happens be in the line of fire.

Well, it was worth a try and might be useful is some scenarios.

Lol it looked pretty good but they're actually only firing at you and he's just colleratoral damage :p
I wonder if we'll get a fix to fireweapon(e) this year.

Yeah. it's an illusion really but it could be useful In a scene where you want friendlies to aim at an enemy but not shoot him. By the way, I borrowed a bit of your script to detect the position of the target.
