Something that doesn't have zombies or shooting in it.

I want to create choices, and characters.

I really like GameGuru interface very easy to catch onto.

But I'm thinking maybe this engine isn't for me,

Can you create choices for the player to select?

And can we do cut scenes now or no?

Well you can create RPG games and there are scripts available for this free and on the store ...
Or of course you could learn a little Lua scripting to create what you need ...

You can also create Interactive games as shown on below ..
https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/213993#msg2535112

No matter what engine you use at some point you will want to create and import your own models, script your own game to make it unique ...Whatever you decide to use it isn't going to be any different eventually ..

Cut scenes can be added in WMV format so in reality you could record what you need in GG and play it back in game via a story Zone
Hope that helps ..

Well said synchromesh.

@Anna Claire, welcome to the forums
This is something I am currently working on, and there is lots of content to help you get started. As mentioned by synchromesh, check scripts in the store and forum for ideas and see what is currently possible. Lots of talented script writers in the community that are helping make more options possible than just run and gun

Without doubt it's possible. In fact, given the AI in GG at present, probably a better option in all honesty.
