I am making a series of models based around the above. At this point there are three towers in the Store and a gateway to be uploaded soon.

Nice additions here, grob, have you thought about doing some texture variations? Perhaps some other colored bricks as well?

teamhalo. Yes I am working on that thanks. Will put up some pictures in the next few days plus some new models in the series. I am planning to make a modular system that users will be able to build all manner of walled medieval or fantasy town so your alternative texture idea would work very well

I am just finishing a couple of alternative meshes for these models. As usual I will include them as additional options within the original models rather than try to sell as additional ones. So that will give purchasers three models per purchase.

Have fun.

The first picture here shows the small tower with the first additional texture. The second and third pictures show a new model, part of the wall, with the original and the new additional texture. I need to complete the third texture then I will start uploading. Thanks for looking.

OK I have the three textures sorted now. Below are pictures showing the additional two. At this point in time I have three towers, a wall section, a wall section with steps and a gateway. The wall sections are now capped with a wooden structure. Each model will have three variations created by their textures but will be sold as one model. The wall section can be clipped together using the grid but items like the towers need to be placed manually. This has the advantage of putting such items anywhere within the walls.

The wall sections and wall with steps sections are now up in the Store. A new model in the set is also up now being a Bridge With Wooden Watch Tower. The tower is climbable by the player via a wooden ladder. Model inspired by one in the Sketchup Warehouse.

I have added two additional texture files to each of these models (including the towers) so the game designer has the choice of three model styles for each model. So buy one get two more free if you like.

Looking really good. I like the scale of these models. Would enjoy seeing a video walkthrough or something to get a feel for how they look in game.

Thanks Harry and Synchromesh. I am bringing out a few more models in this series and then releasing it as a pack which I will probably call something like Build A Town. the idea will be a mix and match theme with a variety of texture options so individual medieval/fantasy towns can be put together by the game designer.

This is part of my Towers collection. The walls, gateways, towers are already available in the Store now I am creating the inside of the medieval/fantasy town. This is the first model of the market place.

I will bundle the veg free later with the pack so it can be placed on the stalls for purchase or stealing to ad to players health ETC.

Edit: Pack is now available in the Store.

This model comes in three 'flavours' to match the stone work in the Medieval/Fantasy Town Pack. If you have purchased that pack then this model is a free update. Its in the Store now awaiting clearance.

Three versions of a walk in church complete with wooden pews. All these churches have wooden constructed towers and one even has a thatched roof.

Low poly count.

Another market stall uploaded to the Store. If you have purchased the pack can I suggest you use the GameGuru download system to update your pack fairly regularly for the next few weeks as I will be putting many more models up. Thanks.

Thanks mate. Just put up another stall so if you have already purchased the pack please upgrade.

I have completed two new buildings for the pack and uploaded being the walk in church above that is complete with pews and comes in three versions. Also a small stable with various features. this comes with two texture files to give variety to your games. As soon as they are approved I will add to the pack.

Please note that I will be increasing the price of the pack soon as I have a number of models nearing completion and as I said at the beginning of this thread I would offer the pack at a cheaper price to start with. Thanks.

OK here is a small shelter. Useful for keeping a horse in as it has an internal partition. Also good for hiding in.

A simple model for the town but it helps to add atmosphere. Especially with the great models of horses now available in the Store.

Just added the above new models to the pack bringing the total models to date up to 26. With the variations that now gives you around 45 models in the pack.

If you have already purchased the pack available here https://en.tgcstore.net/pack/10793 then please update FREE of charge. Remember all updates as the pack size increases will be free to those already purchased.

I will be adding more models in the next few days but as previously stated as this pack is getting bigger I will increase the price as I feel the $5 I will be getting at the current price is not a fair reflection on the value of the pack.

Enjoy.

Quite a few buildings of various styles now under construction. I am planning around 20 buildings for the Town Pack plus a lot of clutter. As usual where feasible each model will come in a variety of 'flavours'

Sorry for delay in getting on with this pack but I have been all over the UK over the last month on contract. Will be on the same contract until the 29th of this month then finished.

So I will then get on in earnest with this pack.

Thanks Harry.

Haven't uploaded these yet as I am currently in France and have not found a good connection. Will probably have a good un back end of next week so will upload them then along with several other models in my Towers pack. As I said at the beginning I will increase the price of the pack as it gets bigger so I guess that will be when I upload this lot.

Of course all those that have already purchased get the new models free of charge as an update.

Just finishing a new lower wall for the pack. Plus some covered walkways or tunnels that can be made to run off the new lower walls. Will be uploading a number of new models for the pack this weekend.

Cheers Granada.

Just completed a new tower. This one allows a walk through from one wall to another.

Also has smaller windows on one side and arrow slots on the other.

Thanks Earthling45. Great handle .

I have now at last uploaded some of the models and as soon as they are passed by the Store I will add them to the pack. So if you bought the pack at the low intro price please upgrade. Its FREE.

I will as I said start to increase the price of the pack as soon as these models are cleared and added.

A while ago I started a cathedral construction pack. This is nearing completion and I think would fit into the medieval/fantasy pack so I will be putting that in as well. The cathedral kit will also include a catacombs or crypt area so can also work for horror games.

Thanks Harry. Yes I put a lot into my textures as I feel my models are fairly simple and good textures bring out the best in them

Here is a short vid to show what can be done with the town pack for medieval or fantasy games.

New models now uploaded and in the pack.

I have also added my Medieval/Fantasy tunnels to this pack so that's another 28 models in the pack.

Please upgrade your items if you have already purchased this pack. I will be adding some more models very soon so keep an eye on the forums and Steam.

Sorry for the late reply, i have been busy with kids of my brother in the last few weeks so i seem to have missed your reply.
But yes, i have bought the pack

Your models breath the ambience that i'm looking for to use in a game.
It will not be an fps but an adventure that takes the player on a journey through the pagan life and religion.
That means various levels and a lot of creativity on how to get it done, but first i have to master GG well enough in order to extract all the possibilities which GG provides, and of course lua.
