Some great news is Lee is currently working on developing all the menus in LUA so they can be customizable. After that if the Menu editing item on the voting board gets worked on you may even see some type of editor for this.
Though very soon it will be possible to easily code our own menus since they won't be hardcoded into the engine soon. So expect many tutorials on how to create your own UI after that update comes out
