There seems to be an issue with the new Sci Fi DLC interior sections. When you place characters in the editor inside the interior sections and then run test game they will either run around wildly into walls or will just stand there and they will only attack you if you are standing next to them. This seems to be an issue with both melee characters and ranged ones (although ranged enemies will attack at range if they see you).

It's nothing to do with the interior models, it's to do with all of the character AI's, they don't like being inside or above 0 level, you'll get the same issue no matter what interior models you use.

Open the fpe for the new scifi interior items with a text editor and place

forcesimpleobstacle = 3

anywhere in the list of commands
shutdown and restart GG and they should work.

if they don't work delete the character and place a new character back in the map.

You will have to place forcesimpleobstacle = 3 in every walkable scifi model's fpe, as none of them have it.
I assume it will be corrected in the next update.

Cheers

Oh? That's really strange because NPC movement seems to be fine in the two interior demo games; The Asylum and the warehouse. Is there a work around to this issue?

All the Scifi models are missing that command, the Asylum and the Warehouse models have that command written in already.

That's why the Asylum and the Warehouse models are walkable.
