In GG trying to import a model into the Import Model Window crashes the prog.

Used to work for me but been happening for last few versions.

Presumably its broken?

1. Check the poly count of your model, I got that message a few times and It turned out to be my model being +70,000 tris.
2. Check your .x file (always export from your modelling program as text so you can check it later) in notepad, anther reason this can happen is if you try to import an empty model, if the model is empty in notepad you will only see a dozen or so lines of code, whereas if it's ok you will get a couple of pages of code. If it is an empty model then go back into your modeller and re-export it making sure that all of the objects you want to export to .x are selected.

The model meets all the correct criteria and is very low poly.

I already have it working in GG OK - the reason I want to import a copy into the model editor is to look at and edit/adjust its collision box before saving out from there once done - that's the only reason I need to open it in GG model editor.

I get weird results now with GG after a GG crash has happened - it used to restart with full capability, now it looks like it restarts in the same way but some editor functions, lua etc don't work as expected. Sometimes restarting GG clears it and sometimes a PC reboot is needed to do it. But I imagine you've probably tried that . Cheers.
