Hi all.
I wasn't follow Game Guru that much in the past years because of poor performance on my config and because of early stage. But the latest version (v1.111) did bring significant performance improvements and I have seen nice things done by the community using Lua and also, slowly we have nice selection of assets to choose from.
So I'm thinking about to use Game Guru for my project which would be a Multiplayer game.
But before I do so I would like to know more about it current state.
If it not too much to ask, anyone could give me a quick update on current and future state of Lua and Multiplayer features?
What I would like to know, is there any proper Lua documentation for Game Guru, where I could be able to see all commands currently available with a small explanation what command does what and a short example how to use it?
Do we have full control over everything by using Lua or it is still limited in some cases?
For example can I control camera, physics and properties of entity that I can normally edit in editor through Lua?
@TGC:
Would be great to have something similar to AGK2 documentation, it really surprise me Game Guru got nothing like that to keep people up to date and introduce scripting in Game Guru.
My next question is, currently how much control we have over Multiplayer in Game Guru?
Can I make my own rules and objectives or I can choose from presets only such as capture the flag, death match and staff like that...
In case I can choose from presets only or not even that, how likely to be to have full control over multiplayer in near future?
And also to have full control over everything through Lua?
By near future I mean in the next 12 months.
Thanks.
