OK thanks The Next, I've never seen any items in the drop down except for the first level categories, it's always been blank for sub-categories for me.
ie:
when I'm not already in a category I see this:
but when i'm in a category I see this:
It's always been like that for me, I just assumed you guys decided to put the sub categories into the page instea dof the drop down due to the length of the list.
