Hi,

I just created my first object including an animation.
This is a chest with the cover who can be opened.
I tested two versions with a different number of frames because the animation speed is not good in GG.

In general, how many frames are needed for correct opening speed ?

I have two test objects with 20 and 57 frames.
Thanks for the advices !

when I create animated items that close and open with blender I make open 0 to 30 and close 31 to 61 with the framerate set to the default 24, that's always worked for me.

It all depends on how you feel it should look realy, the closest I can get to this is my chest of drawers, I have a drawer opening and closing and I used 0, 50 Open and 51, 100 to close. I think that the frame rate should be 30 as standard.

Hope this helps.
HP Pavilion Laptop, AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon(tm) Graphics HD Graphics 1.6GHz, 8GB Memory, 64 Bit Operating System (Windows 10), 1 TB Hard Drive.

I've got something to say - It's better to burn out than fade away.
