Which build are you using, looks like an older one. Have you tried a file verify?

I am finding that if you are working on a large level and you test game it a few times, game guru does some strange things. Try restarting game guru and then open the map, save as a new name and see if that will clear it up for you.

If not then could you email me the map file to the below email address.

i get this after a crash and "resetting to previous level", it's normally fine after restarting GG completely though (only since the C++ change but it's not a huge issue as GG doesnt crash much for me nowadays)
if not i would advise the file verification as well.

could you mail me the fpm file at all ?
Just to check its not the map causing the problem ....although I doubt it anyway..
Could you also try saving it under a different name and then load the new one ?

i reinstall GG and level not working... i can't save level as a different name cause buttons like as "save" not working...

Ok really weird .... The fault "is" in the map ...I'm getting the same problem..
Your GameGuru is probably fine .... Let me look into this a little more

I think it was a problem when it was saved at a guess but really have no idea of the cause ...
I simply added a new entity and it all started working again ....
I then deleted the entity, Re saved the map and all was good again ...Strange one but interesting

I've had GG freeze up after a crash when running a test game, same as smallg. If you try adding a new entity at this point it is stuck in the left hand corner with no way to place it down or move it at all. Reloading has fixed it for me when it has happened, obviously losing any changes you made since the last save.

I have also noticed that if I load in a level on a fresh boot of GG and test it, it takes a short time to load. Change anything on the map and it then takes 10 minutes or more creating AI obstacles. This is quite a long time to wait to test small changes and I really hope it is addressed, as it really is no fun watching that screen sitting there, for what seems forever. It seems as if GG is rebuilding every obstacle, when really it should only be building new changes to the map and loading the others back in...


SPECS: Q6600 CPU. Nvidia 660GTX. 8 Gig Memory. Win 7.
