Kind of like how FPSC did, have a load button on the main menu, and a save button on the pause menu so you can save wherever you want. I know there are scripts out there, but you should be able to load any save from any level straight from the main menu. I feel this is essential, and would do good for the engine. Anyway, thats just my 2 cents.
