So recently i bought Acid's script for the Slot machine, I've got it to work so that's no problem, but there is no slot machine model that comes with it, so i thought, where can i get one?
He gives me a place to go to download one, but its a silly .3ds file, so i have to put it into a file converter to change that to a .x file.
All of that was successfully done.
So i place the BMP Files and the .X File into a folder under the entity bank, i go into game guru, the folder is there with no files, I have noticed that all other entities have a .FPE file and other random files aswell.
Do i need a .FPE file for the slot machine, ifso, how do i get one, if not, what have i done wrong?
Please Help
Thanks!

I have not read the script, so I don't know how it works, but do the script and model have animations associated with them? I would expect them to. If you use the model importer, it will make the fpe for you so that's not an issue once you do that, but I would suspect you have no animations as well.

You do need a .fpe file to get your object into the editor. think of it as the control file. Just open one with a text editor and you will see how it works. They tell what model to use, what texture to use and if it uses ai or not. get really familiar with them especially if you plan to put in your own personal models into GG. I find the best method is to find an existing object that is similar in nature to your own , copy and alter it to the needs of your model.
.dds is just the texture file. It's a better format to use than .bmp as you can do all sorts of transparent/translucent effects with it. People generally use .bmp files for the 64x64 icon picture for selecting your object in the editor. Hope this helps.

Get yourself a copy of Blender, it's free, then watch Unfamillias video tutorial series on how to make, texture and import models for GameGuru, he's really clear and concise, even tells you which buttons to press and when, you'll be an expert in no time.

Go to gimp.org and install GIMP, then go to https://code.google.com/p/gimp-dds/ and download and install the dds plugin, then you will be able to export as dds in GIMP

As I said, I really do advise you check out Unfamillias video tutorial series, it's really helpful, it goes through all the texturing using GIMP step by step and telling you how to make the diffuse, normal and specular textures you need, it's how I learned modelling, I literally picked up blender and GIMP with no previous knowledge and was making models for GameGuru (see my model thread here https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/214099)in a matter of days.
