I got Floating Grass amongst other issues.

See attached screen shot.

I give up until next year and more releases I think.

System : Advent Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit. Intel(R). i5-2310 CPU @ 2.90GHz. 8.00 GB RAM DDR3. Storage : 1389 GB : 1088 GB Free (1389 GB Total). Graphics : NVIDIA GeForce GT 530. Total Available Graphics Memory : 4095 MB. Dedicated : 1024 MB. Shared : 3071 MB. Direct X10

Not seen that one in a while Can you send me the FPM level from that screenshot, as there is a good chance I can reproduce this here and find a fix. Thanks!

Sometimes I still have the floating grass too.
I think one of the trees is the reason for the bug, but don't know which one...

I sometimes get the issue when you paint the grass then higher / lower the terrain, but not always.
PC - Windows 7 64bit, Intel i5, 12Gb Ram, 1TB WD Black, Evga Geforce 760gtx 2GB

I had simply been trying to change the veg type when the grass "all" decided to float in the air.................so ended up leaving the veg type I had in the first place.....

Low and behold - I open the level the next day (today) - test run again and the grass has righted itself and now displays correctly again sitting on the terrain where it should be. I shall try and remember that next time I try changing veg type.

There is still some kind of issue that is happening with the grass. It just happens from time to time for me, no real reason to it. I just adjust one of the grass parameters in the metrics panel and it sets the grass back to the terrain.

Hi all,
I have also noticed this, with some grass types when the grass is going up the side of a steep slope.

OldFlak....

Yes grass has always been bugged and although it happens less often now, it still occasionally floats. Not a problem in test game, just change one of the settings for the grass slightly and it will recalculate. In a standalone though, you are stuck. I'm so used to it now I fix it on autopilot, lol. It's obviously a tricky one to pin down.
