I want to change a weapon for the characters created with Character Creator. I like to change the weapon from the Colt to the Futurek weapon, is this possible??

At the moment, you can only change the weapon to one of the Modern Day weapon defaults.



I agree this list should be expanded to allow selection of 'all' weapons currently in your collection. I have added it to our list.
PC SPECS: Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i7-5930K (PASSMARK:13645), NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 GPU (PASSMARK:9762) , 32GB RAM

Oke thanks Lee, I tested the DMZtrooper1 with a different weapon , hovering and selecting without any problem. I guess the combination of DMZTrooper1 and the Futurek weapon caused this problem, maybe with other characters and Futurek weapon too, strange.

Have you tried altering your created characters fpe to your choice of weapon by repointing ?
I'm pretty sure I tried this a while back with success ?
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Yep just tried it again ....
A character from the creator can use the futuretek Shotgun fine
Just change this in the fpe

hasweapon = futuristic\FuturetekShotgun
Or one of BSP's Weapons
hasweapon = BSP_MW\AK47

Strange I think the combination of the DMZtrooper1 and the Futuretek weapon caused the problem. I changed the FPE file for the DMZtrooper1 from Futuretek to BSP Sci-Fi\QuasarGun this with no hovering and selecting problem. The only problem I have at the moment is the strange behaviour of enemy characters with obstacles, they want to climb high mountians without result, see pics.

Does this also happen with Stock and CC Characters ?

No they are working fine, DMZtrooper and the stock, CC characters are using the same LUA script so it have to do with the FPE script I think.

I changed the FPE file " offy = -6" from the DMZtrooper1 and the problem is over only the hovering/selecting problem is back now with the Quasergun, so I am not using DMZtrooper anymore , it is a pity. I am going to use the Robotic enemies with the Futuretek I created with CC they work fine.

I got the same problem with a CC character+Futuretek weapon , hovering and selecting not correct working. Changing to a different weapon in the FPE file " Futuristic\Futuretek -> BSP Sci-Fi\S4-VC6 Pistol" the problem was over
Can someone else test this in GG ? Thanks.
