I was just thinking, perhaps it's just me, but perhaps using Terrain should be a choice?
What if we only want an Interior level?
There's no need to render hundreds of thousands of un-seen polygons.

Just figured I'd state that.

Unless it gets Culled when inside an Interior area.
I just played one of the demos. The Haunted scary one or whatever. And it said over 800K in polygons were being
rendered. Perhaps it should just be a choice to use terrain or not, because that would be a great optimization to have.

You can disable the terrain completely with a script, along with water rendering.

Oh nice, thanks for mentioning that. But it would still be nice to have it built into the UI with a button or whatever and look like the old grid based creating like in FPSC.

But thanks for mentioning this, glad to know it's doable regardless.

The script is called "goindoors.lua" in your scriptbank folder, you just attach that to a triggerzone and put that around your start marker. The terrain is instantly gone at the start of your game. I've done this for a couple of my game concepts where I didn't need any terrain and it works great
