I just thought this might be of interest to some.
https://www.onshape.com/

This is a cloud based 3d cad software that is very similar to Solidworks.
You can even work with Solidworks, parts and assemblies drawings with this.

Enjoy.

I may be old, but at least my memory still ....hmmm

Yes was reading that. So the output will have to go thru another program to be converted to X file or something else.

Thanks

You might want to check that poly count as well; looks like it might be quite high (judging from the top edges of the barrel).

@ Pirate Myke
Yes, no .X export.

@ KeithC
Yes, poly count is high as well.

At the moment If I draw a model in Solidworks, I open it in 3dsMax, (as it opens Solidworks files. )
Then I reduce the models polycount and export it as a .X from 3dsMax.
I'm sure other programs will do this as well, but i'm only familiar with Autodesk and Solidworks products.

I just have to learn how to UV map, wrap, unwrap and apply textures correctly now..
(drawing is the easy part, for me)

On a side note..
Autodesk have a similar cloud based CAD package as well, Fusion 360. I haven't used it yet.
Maybe later this month I will look at it as well.

You can also use Blender which is free on Steam to import one of those formats and export as DirectX X file for GameGuru compatibility.
