I've been making cars recently with 3 different defuse maps however It irks me that I have to create a _n and _s map for each one. To save space, is it possible to have 3 different _d maps and only use one _n and _s?
Example:
car1blue_d
car1red_d
car1vomitinducingpink_d
car1_n
car1_s
I know you can do it with the .x but it just seams a waste of disc space to have to create a _s and _n for each defuse.
Also are luminosity maps available in GG? If so could anyone explain or give me a link on how to create them?
Thanks in advance.

No I am sorry it is not, as the shader looks for the normal and specular based on the diffuse textures name.

Make one with the _I extension and have a black back ground and white where you want it to illuminate. Save to dxt1 compression.
