Never seen that before. Is the mouse sensitivity set really fine?

Could we get your system specifications and graphics card and operating system please.

Does this do this upon rebooting of the machine?

And I am going to move this thread to bug reports, so it can get the attention it needs.

Am I assuming this is something that has just started ?

Have you tried the usual first ?

verify your installation for any errors via steam ...

Go to your steam library and right click on GameGuru...Select "properties" .....then select "local files" and finally "verify integrity of game cache"

See if that brings anything to light and fixes your issue ...

Well I've never used it because it was not already since longer. I had just not wanna do something about. But I have a lot of money put into this that I want to use it anyway. It began as it came out on Steam. It went all the time had recently also Win8 also because it was now I'm back Win 7 also went first and then few days later easily broken. had me brought between Duch all packs. more I have not done. New virus program but it is not dadran've already tried using the program. Have checked for errors in Steam, he always finds 2 fixes them, but the error remains.

It's definitely a graphics card problem, maybe GG is using the onboard graphics or something? My first call would be to check for that and also try turning vsync mode on.
There's some threads here explaining how to check the card in use buy for vsync mode look at the setup.ini in the files folder.

too old or broken can they in any case be not . Because it is new and it causes problems only in the program . everything else goes .

Have you excluded the yourprofile/appdata/local/temp folder from you virus program?

If not set that and re verify files and try again please.

I think this is a cosmetic issue that is the program might even blame . it does not only with me problems . I have found some problems with the program on the Internet. no matter what I tried nothing worked.

everything else works so therefore it must be on Steam or the program .

always the same, as if you have no other arguments. Sorry, I do not want to be ungrateful, but annoying to hear always the same. I have already tried it say again and again and yet always does the same in response. The support is not much help. Sorry, but that annoys me.

I tried it again and just started a test game. it took a long time but then works that Error was there anyway. but unfortunately now have the settings in Test Game errors. they no longer make quite what they should. the flickering stopped but briefly. but still it is not working properly. probably something stupid programmed that the program some graphics cards will not accept. I just wait times even from the next updates.

I would now like anyone too close but you should contact the revise again. it can not be that some video cards work and others do not. Den there is only in the program all anere can I use or play and even on Ultra.

Have you tried uninstalling totally through add / remove programs and then reinstalling via steam ?
Once done you could also try running as Administrator ..

Hi,

I'm sorry you are feeling annoyed, but we need to eliminate issues to help track down these problems. If you've successfully excluded your dbpdata folder, which was the most likely cause of your problem then we can look at other causes. These issues are much better handled via support as we are better equipped to assist you.

Have you verified the integrity of the game cache after excluding this folder? As you report that files are reported as missing each time you do this, it seems that something is removing them from your build, which seems to be leading to your issue.

I've also not been able to find your GPU listed, so I'm not sure of the specs, but the next step would be to check your graphic drivers are up to date.

We would prefer to handle this via support, so you would be better responding with any further facts there. This also allows us to discuss any private account issues with you.

Many thanks,

SC

we would like to arrange for a special test build to see if it solves your problem running GameGuru.

It won't be updated and will only be to see if it fixes your issue.

Please contact support again and arrange to get this build for testing. the email they contacted you from will be fine.

Thanks.

I got the same problem, this is how I fixed (work around) it,

start gameguru
it wil show ..resuming from previous session.. ( i think this what causes the flickers)
then QUICKLY -> CLICK TEST GAME -> when game runs, press tab twice -> press escape -> File -> new flat level -> Test game -> escape
flicker gone

on gameguru v1.01.0034,
it was fine before, I run it several times, then got this problem
please fix this

@andriwas
There are two things you can try here ...

1... Find the SETUP.INI file in the root folder (typically C:\Program Files\ Steam \ SteamApps \ common \Game Guru\)
Then change adapterordinal=0 to adapterordinal=1

2...From NVIDIA Control Panel
3D Settings->Manage 3D Settings
Tab "Global settings"
Preferred Graphics Processor
Select : High performance NVIDIA processor

See if any of these options help .... I'm guessing GG is not using the Nvidia card ?

Tried #1 + 2, the problem still there. FYI, in the Task Manager, when the flickers happened, there are TWO 'Game Guru Game (32 bit)' processes, if I end task one, the flickers gone.
Please fix this.
