testing and working with animation i can animate and update animation with facial talking eye movement ect and standard animation
how would i add a basic sound for speech script using the basic script and anim frames template here.

Try to use the sound slot 1 and put there your sound, because any character use this sound slot for sound.
I found some script by smallg for neutral character, read inside script:

sorry i am at total loss with scripting
what i am trying to do is get npc to idle with idle animation frames 00,00 to be determined
then on distance to player play animation 00,00 to be determined and play sound .
if possible to return and play animation again with same sound or new sound,
is this possible , just need some sort of template script to get me going and understanding more of scripts.
animation is all set for eye movement lip sync with voice and body animation need no script for that all combined
in 1 animation file lip sync is done on animation with voice wav file. as shown in youtube link above.

you will likely want a character sound set if this is going to become more than 1 sound (as only 1 sound per object is really supported by GG right now - 2 if it's not a character but unless you're having a conversation with a wall...)

however it's much quicker to assign 1 sound without the character sound set so let's just do that first

as i can't see which frame numbers are which in your fpe you need to set the frame numbers yourself in the script

animations based on the wizard script just edited the walk and run animations
