I thought that rather than have loads of postings for stuff, I will create a post to which I will add all the Free Media I can make for you.

Keep you eyes peeled on this as I will be adding music/sounds and scripts regularly.

3 scripts for now and some spooky choir type sounds

The countdown script use in your trigger zone to start timer.

The add time script uses trigger zones after the countdown zone, to add time to the countdown
Just alter the variable and re-save as a new script, for different lengths of time to add.

Could be used to make a "Runner" type game maybe.

The choir sounds are from my Saviour entry in the Indie Contest. So if you havent checked my game out yet, give it a try, it's free after all

Link removed. See further down this post for gamejolt link.

If you like it please vote. Thanks.

i'm currently working on…

thirst, hunger, radiation, heat and anxiety lua scripts.

these will be used to make gameplay more survival like, and with puzzles too.

all the above scripts will interact using global variables, so if heat rises your thirst will increase more quickly.

i will put the thirst script here for free soon and also a script to make thirst go down when you drink.

lost in time paused until performance and dx11 is implemented, exciting stuff ahead i think.

Thirst script - assign to dynamic object, make it always on.... this will gradually increase thirst.

waterfull script - assign this to a dynamic object such as a bottle of water to zero the thirst script. Just walk near the bottle to drink.

sounds can be assigned to slot 1. In the object properties. I have altered that 1 script to create other player attributes as well.

The player will get thirsty again over time.

see video below for them all in action.

I thought I would place the new gamejolt link for Saviour V2 here as the old dropbox one is now a dead link, I needed the space.

http://gamejolt.com/games/saviour-v2/108249

Not a huge download and it runs well on a modest system. Hope you enjoy.

pink panther thank you.

Keep your eyes peeled, for the scripts and gfx for my sprite based status panels.

These will be posted here for FREE sometime before christmas.

Just need to tidy up the lua and comment it properly so its easier to understand.

thirst, hunger, temperature, stamina.

They all interact nicely, for example, heat will increase the rate at which thirst increases, when thirst is maxed hunger increases, when you are maxed out on thirst and hunger, your stamina will drop quicker.

Lots of variable juggling but it works very well.

Of course when stamina hits zero the player will die.

I have scripts for all these and the gfx, there are also scripts for drinks, foods etc, some will decrease thirst, hunger and increase stamina to varying degrees.

Here are the scripts, unzip to scriptbank folder, comtrolpanel.zip needs to be in scriptbank images, and the map file in the mapbank folder.

Keep the scripts and the images inside the folders they are zipped into, have fun. more to come.

thanks Myke, Harry and Isagabe. Im glad they work for you

If you find the panels a little to transparent just rem out the line in each panel script that reads "-- SetSpriteColor(panelname, r, g, b, alpha) or simply alter the alpha value.

The same goes for the pointer sprite rem out -- SetSpriteColor(pointername, r, g, b, alpha)

Just working on some more additions to these and other scripts.

@3com - thanks, hoping to upload the temperature zone script soon, which will interact with the thirst and stamina.

Might try and do a visual, sprite based, battery indicator for the flashlight once the temperature is done, and an anxiety panel which will decrease stamina when it is pitch black, jump scare will also push up anxiety levels too.

Hope you all have great christmas.

Does anyone know if there are any sprite collision detection commands to be added?

Poison Areas, Scripts, image and test level... FREE
------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a new set of stuff, I better say if you are using scripts to display an image, like notes, this will possibly mess with those.

It would be best to use this set of scripts where you have no note reading sections.

No sounds are included as yet. Text prompt position is default, at bottom centre, so if you need to move it please do.

All working here.

Leaky Gas Mask Script
---------------------------------

Assigned to the sack in the level.

E to Pick up and use.

Gas Mask On Script
-----------------------------

Assigned to mattress

Keeps the image on screen.

Poison Range Script
-----------------------------

Assigned to barrel in the sandy terrain.

Sets poison range, amount of damage.
Lots of damage if mask_on = 0
only a little damage is mask_on = 1

Remove Mask Script
------------------------------

Auto removes the mask near the barrel on the small hill
in the level and puts health up to 100.

Recharge Health Script
----------------------------------

Assigned to barrel next to table.

Slowly adds health if the mask is on or off.
Mainly used if you die in level.

Be careful with the variables, they are set very carefully.

extract the t1971 image folder into images
extract the t1971 script folder into scriptbank
Put the .fpm file in mapbank.

yw jph, i will be adding another script to this set that will keep gg built in health at 500, so you just use this scripts health at 100, that way the red screen effect will not kick in, you can disable it in a settings file but resets if gg is updated.

All entities must be dynamic, immobile.

@jc leon - just place the unzipped t1971 gas mask image folder in scriptbank/images, then it should work. hope that helps you.

all ok thanks..

it would be cool if we can have a gasmask script like that
https://forum.thegamecreators.com/thread/196008

with a gasmask pickup and another key for equip gasmask so we can use gasmask too many times we want and we can have several gaszones in our maps... maybe with gas recharge similar to flashlight batteries

Above is the dropbox link to the video of the Leaky Gas Mask Scripts.

@JC LEON - That's a great idea, I'm working on a flashlight power system as I'm typing this, so give me a few days and it will be here. Does anyone have a fee flashlight entity. I can't find one in the stock entities????

Also remove and put on gas mask working on too as well as air supply to it. Nice lot of variables to play, oh I love maths.... coming soon.

cool thanks, i'm having trouble with the actual detection to check if the flashlight is switched on or off, easy to disable enable the key, but i need to check it is actually switched on, using a variable seems hit and miss and doesnt work properly sometimes.

I need to detect if the light is on to enable battery drain.
