Hello,

What is the scale to choose from in blender so that the object is of good size?
For example, the default Blender cube appears tiny in GameGuru.

Thank you

Take an object out of GG and (after transfering it to something Blender can import such as collada or obj) see what it scales to in Blender. I did that with one of the construction kit heads because I'm working on some hair models. The heads are pretty big.

If I remember correctly anything in any 3D modelling program needs to be 100 times the size.

A bit daft really tbh, I don't know why TGC decided to do things that way.

Hello,

I use other software to create my 3D (Metasequoia 3d). I import a character gameGuru to have a wide guide and created a building.
But Metasequoia is no entertainment so I import the gate in Blender.
This is where things get complicated.
I do not understand the operation of scales in Blender. The only result I get is by enlarging the object with the "Scale" tool. But this is too uncertain for then the door is the same size as the building in GameGuru.

The default grid in Blender represents about one Game Guru 1" per grid square, so the Blender default cube is like the size of a Rubik's Cube in the hands of a GG character.

In other words, if you wanted to make an item that would be 10' tall once imported into GG, make it 120 Blender units tall, since 120" = 10'.

Hello,

It is good. The problem is solved. There is an option "Size Constraint" at the opening of .3ds file that adapts the scale at the opening of the model. But it did not work (...). So I uninstalled and reinstalled Blender. Since it works.

Now, I created my model in 3D using Metasequoia a character GameGuru as a guide ... Then I 3ds backup, then I import it into Blender with 1000 for "Size Constraint". And my scale is retained.
So finally I had a "bug" (I think) with Blender.

Thanks for your help.
K.
