Hello everyone !

New Decal pack available!

Find the following Decals designed by myself for GameGuru V 1.01.0034 (or higher):

- 3 different Decals mist (fog style) intense, medium and small: everything reworked for a more realistic effect (64 frames / decal - Texture 1K / frame)

- 1 wildfire decals to decorate your maps (64 frames - Texture 1K / frame)

- 1 Decal huge flash in the sky (144 frames - Texture 512x512): lightning occurs around every 4 seconds.

CAUTION: To use the flash stormy Decal you must download "effect_animate12.fx" and place it in "Files \ effectbank \ reloaded \"!

You will also meet the Decals because some are driven into the ground GameGuru ... ^^

You must have 400Mb available hard disk for the Pack "Fog-Flash-Fire!"

In pictures:

Intense fog and heavy :

Medium and light mist :

Mist on the ground (more realistic than the old one) :

Fire effect for decorations on a forest (to the red and yellow lightmaps for more realism) :

Flash storm (test version!) :

/!\ - By cons I am aware that the lightning storm is not very realistic; to you to place the decals as it should because it is very large, it serves mainly decorative background. For now I have no other ideas on how to develop a realistic flash ...

DOWNLOADS: FREE attached! Think Shader FX (12X12), (144 frames) !

/!\ - You are missing Shader FX "effect_animate8.fx" or the script "decal_flat.lua" ? They are also available as an attachment ! ^^

Enjoy !

Thanks so much, these are really cool. I'm curious how these effects are created? Again though- the community really appreciates contributions like these. Thanks!

@Devcore35
Cool pack, shall try it out, mostly so I can try to work decals out as I am attempting to make my own.

Just curious if you ever got that .pdf tutorial made? Having issues with my decals, they animate fine in game, but for the life of me I cannot get the transparency working on them.
Have tried various settings in nVidia's dds plugin on export, the various alpha channel options yet my decals appear in game with a solid background.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I think I read in the other thread that you're French so....... Google translate so no idea what it will say lol

@Rabid What paint program are you trying to use to make these decals and what alpha settings are you using when masking them off?

I think I might have asked you this before.

Try using transparency mode 3 now instead of 5. Used to be 5 for decals, but that has been reserved for water for a future module now.

Let me know.
