Is it possible through the gunspec or something? or does it have to be resized in a modelling program?

Don't you want to share your solution with the class?

I just had a good ol' fiddle with the gunspec, specifically the vert, horiz and forward bits. Managed to just about half the weapon size in first person.
Image attached shows weapon with the test game slider set to around 67 weapon FOV

Thank you, there is also a slider in the metrics panel (tab tab) in test game called weapon horizontal FOV.
