Hello,

I placed a zone dedéclenchement to apparaôtre zombies in a building. But after they appeared not move. Even if the player approaches at the ready before taking a shot.
Overall, I am as zombies spawn when the player passes a trigger zone and that after the zombies move towards the player after dectecté.

Also, the zombies do not follow the waypoints.

Thank you,
K

So in the metrics mode in test game there is a slider called debug. Setting it to 10 will show you the collision for the objects, ensuring that the path it truly clear for the AI.

Check this out and see if the are collision lines around the zombie blocking there path.

If so then those objects will need to have forcesimpleobstical = 3 in there FPE files.

Zombies are hard coded and cannot follow waypoints as default..
However there are some 3rd party Lua scripts around that allows them to fallow waypoints and roam about

Hello,

I looked in the fpe: forcesimpleobstical = 3. Do I change this?

I tested "waypoint" with differents zombies and it does not. I think the reason of my problem comes from there.
I know nothing in lua ... Where can I find a script that zombies roam the game or follow a waypoint ?

Thank you
K.

First thing is there collision lines stopping the zombie from moving.

The forcesimpleobstacle = 3 will need to be in the fpe files of the objects used to make you room or enclosure for the zombies.

Notice this is the right use of the command in the FPE file. Spelled wrong in the last post.

this is changed in the objects that make up the room, not in the zombie files.

Here is the link to the script: https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/207801?page=9#msg2524340

If you place an object and then change its fpe.......does the change take affect on the objects already placed?

You need to reload the map after these kinds of changes.

Hello,

Ok, with the scripts I get what want.
But a problem arises. When the zombies roam the map ... Sometimes they go down the steep hillside. After that, they no longer attack. And sometimes they get stuck at the foot of the hill. It should not be embarrassing in my case but it can be in other ...

Thank you

unfortunately at the present version, the AI does not navigate up and down hill very well on their own. To ensure this does not happen, keep your area with ai relatively flat.........or wait for this voted item to be at the topo and get programmed in.
