Will the performance work on GG effect .lua assets? (store bought scripts and items). Will they need to be replaced?

No No it just means more performance without damage any working system like lua
My dream is to develope games, which makes fun when I create it and fun when other people play it.

Cool, any word on the new frame rate? I need about 50 more FPS.

Everything old and new will be effected with the core update, allowing everything to perform faster.

It's pretty exciting to be able to get lower end machines to play the higher frame rates.

It is, and a lot of hard work for the programmers. Check out the blog for status on the updates progression.

Yes, I'm keeping an eye on it. You wouldn't happen to know which GG video had the mention of turning off the terrain would you?

You can set a Trigger Zone and then point it to "goindoors.lua" to turn off terrain and sky .... then another to "gooutdoors.lua" to turn it back on for when you exit..

HideTerrain()
HideWater()

I did notice some decals stopped working after some performance updates. For instance the animated waterfall. I haven't checked to see if they are working again since the last update, however.

Thanks for that goindoors.lua trick, you won't believe what I've been doing trying to get the same results another way.
