I did read the FAQ too, and I have successfully linked my Steam account to the store. I downloaded some free items which can be seen from my prior purchases page, but when I tried to download them via the File -> Dowload Store Items in GameGuru, I get an error "User Not Registered....." and "Could not connect to the server (send request failed: Error 1233)" Also my items are not sitting in checkout anymore, but the licenses show up as me already owning the items. Basically I have an empty checkout, a bunch of licenses for owned items, and my GameGuru is not successfully connecting to the store (even though I logged in through GameGuru bottom left button and used my Steam login and in the web browser I'm logged in). I am not sure how to get GameGuru to get past the server request failed error.

Close Game guru and Clear your browser cache files. Restart the browser. Log in to the store page with the account your made the purchase with. either TGC or steam wallet.

Open GameGuru, and when the editor comes up, Just press file download store items.

Should scan our machine for installed media and then tell you how many files will be downloaded. Press download. Wait 30 seconds, if nothing happens press download one more time.

This should start the download process.

Hopefully this has not locked the account yet. If you get the same error then I will need you to press the green Help Button to the lower right of this window. Provide as much info as you can. the will need your TGC account name, and your email address, and your Steam Profile name that you have linked.

I have done everything specified and it did not work. I also sent a Help message with the information you requested. Hopefully it can be sorted.

I thought it was working because the dowload was showing things dowloading, and I now have a new folder called Purchased in my entities, but there are no items in there. I tried logging into the store again through the GameGuru button, then clicked Download Store Items, and I'm getting the user not registered/can't connect to server error again. I use Chrome, and I'm wondering if the problem is through the Chrome browser, which will be inconvenient because I am not a fan of Firefox, and I detest IE.

Nevermind, I do see that stuff downloaded when I go into the actual Steam files in GameGuru, but they don't show up in the Editor. Should they be moved to their respective folders which they are labeled under?

Edit - derp, need to double click to open the purchased folder. Well, new user learning experience.

This does not explain why I can't re-connect to the store though so this might need to be looked into in my Steam profile again since if I do decide to purchase something, I don't want a connect error to prevent me from downloading.

Ok, Glad things are still sorted for you, I will have them look at the reconnect issue to the store for you.
