In my game, not sure if this is global, the soldiers animate as if they have weapons and shoot at me etc, but those weapons are not visible. Is this a bug or something we must script in?

if it's stock characters then it's a bug, run the steam file verification and that'll likely fix it
(right click gameguru in the list -> properties -> local files)

Yeah they are stock character creation tool created characters. I needed turban wearers etc and this was the best way to get them I guess.

Another funny thing is that its not always happening. I just had a test run and was surprised to see a pistol.

Then I have 2 dudes on the top of some buildings......and their heads are gone and they float in the air about 3 feet..........

I've had characters with invisible weapons on a very large level. Crosshairs were also missing. In my case I suspect the level is too large.

I have a sort of work around figured out. I guess this comes with at least a bit of experience at playing with everything. I just redesigned how my enemies are appearing. If they are off at start and only activated at certain places.........make sure they are out of site from the spot they got activated from. If you activate them in your LOS at the right distance they will be wierd in many ways incluided raised above the grounmd for no reason by 3 feet or so, missing their heads and missing their weapons.

If they were on from the start and you can see them very far away.......they might be missing their weapons and even if you have them to always active and on a path of waypoints, they wont be walking it until you get closer to them to almost already see you.

It might suck for certain game concepts but there are design workarounds for this Be creative!
