I just discovered I can't walk through the chainlink fence gate anymore after opening with a key. Not just in levels already made, but even starting on a blank level. I've tried to add polygon collision to the fpe to no avail. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I just tried a set of doors too. Like the gates, I can open them, but can't walk through. I'm puzzled!

I haven't messed with it, the only thing I messed with was the fpe, where I added the collisionmode, but I only tried that after it wasn't working in the first place. I deleted the bin and dbos, of course, and after realizing that made no difference, I ran a file verification through Steam. It replaced those three files and put them back to normal. I've just rebooted my computer, and I will try things again.

EDIT: Still not working!

I just experimented a little further. I played "Get to the River". Now , it's been a couple updates since I've even messed with GG, but when did that grow so much in size? (I like it!) Anyway, I noticed AI isn't working for me, either. I walked halfway through that level and nobody even shot at me. I could walk right up to them and shoot every one of them standing face to face. Even more bizarre!

EDIT: The AI works fine except for firing. They will come after me, follow and react otherwise, but no firing. Makes for an easy win, but...

EDIT #2: I will try on my desktop. It will take, probably, most of the night for it to update, so I will get back here tomorrow. I fear that this will be the same there as well since they are very similar machines hardware and software wise.

I would say verify your steam installation and see if that helps .. Sounds more like a corruption than a bug ?

Go to your steam library and right click on GameGuru...Select "properties" .....then select "local files" and finally "verify integrity of game cache"

See if that brings anything to light and fixes your issue ...

I had not, 3com, as I have never had any issues before, however, I will certainly give it a try! Thanks! (funny how I see that message several times daily, yet still ignore it altogether!) Thanks again!

I found I had all kinds of issues beyond what I posted above. In addition to what I listed so far, proximity mines would trigger but never explode. Stand-alones would not run, they would freeze while loading, and it also would not connect to the store, even though I was logged in. It would give one of two errors: "Invalid email or password (Error 1147)" or "User not registered on the Game Guru Store, please click the Game Guru Store buton etc., etc." Also, prompts would stay on screen until I triggered a different prompt. Nothing posted in this thread helped, although they were all good suggestions. (Thank you!) I did finally get it working, however, I do not know exactly what I did, or perhaps it was a combination of the things I did. I uninstalled GG, and let Steam re-install it. Upon the reinstall, it worked (or didn't work) same as before. I then stopped several processes in an effort to find one that was hurting me, to no avail. I then rebooted, along with a windows update, then launched GG again. Everything above works now as it should, with the exception of the GameGuru Store. I still get those same errors. Bummer, I got paid today! LOL!

It would seem that the windows update fixed my issue, but I can assure you I have rebooted my laptop many, many times since this issue first showed itself, and upon each reboot, there was no prompt to update until this last time. I find it hard, if not impossible, to believe that in the midst of all this, Microsoft released an update that coincidentally solved my problem since I am absolutely certain this GG update was developed BEFORE the Windows update was released! Anyway, I hope it stays working, and I hope you figure yours out too, Pink Panther. (Now I have the Pink Panther song going through my head.) I still have the issue on my desktop, since I am writing this only minutes after resolving it on my laptop. I may be able to narrow it down doing it a second time! My specs are in my sig for comparison to your hardware if you are curious. I remember the last time I reported a bug, nobody seemed to have the same issue initially, but within 6 hours it seemed everyone and their brother had it! LOL, I hope that isn't the case here, or maybe it would be for the best if they did! Good luck!

EDIT: Btw, all those samples are a LOT harder when people are shooting at you! LOL

Unfortunately I can not be of any help, As this is not happening on my machine. I can get thru the doors, and the zombies are attacking me. AI is shooting me.

I will keep an eye out for this stuff.

Run to the river the AI shots me rather aggressively.

It's possible, 3com, after I uninstalled GG and reinstalled, I did verify the game cache (for the 20th time) and it said 2 files needed to be reacquired. I let it do it's thing but GG still didn't work after that. It wasn't until after the reboot with a windows update that it worked. I'm still not giving Microsoft the credit for this, though! Like you say, it's a mystery! Thanks again to all who took the time to help!

LOL, you're welcome, but I'm still not buying that as the solution! Microsoft has it's moments, but they aren't THAT good! Anyway, glad it's working for you!

teabone, you have reported bandage zombie not working on multiple occasions. We have this on the fix list. And some post suggested using one of the other zombie scripts to get the zombie going.

@All: throwing your issue in some other unrelated bug report, will not get your bugs fixed faster, if anything it will get lost faster.

Please dont add unrelated bug to an existing bug report.. start a new one or search for the thread that it exists in.

Thank you.
