When clicking on an entity, especially if there are a number of them stacked on top of each other, it might be an idea to have the name of the entity you are actually working on in the menu (see image).

Here's a perfect example. Here I have a cave entity, a torch entity, a flame decal and a light marker all together. Which one have I selected?

When you run mouse over the item, briefly shows the name, but immediately change to "none selected", so yes, this would be nice to have.

It is in the status bar along with all the other info needed. It is there, its entity number, the status of the snap or inside mode. even if someone is playing multiplayer shows up in the middle. Please no more stuff on the widget menu.

Can you point out (in my second image) where on the status bar?

At the bottom, from left to right, Entity Editing Mode: has instructions for running the current tool. to the immediate right it says Entity: none. This is where the name on the entity that the mouse pointer is on and the entity number and light map entity number is, To the right of this in the blank space is where the multi Player Lobby notice is.

Where it says Edit: is where the status of inside clip mode is. when in top down or Free flight mode, pressing tab here will display the status.
Just right of that is the X and Z coordinates.

Just right of that is the Grid mode display, pressing B will change it to grid, snap, normal.

To the right of that is the Cap lock, Num Lock Or Scroll lock indicator.

I know all that

What I'm getting at is after you've selected something then you can't tell what you've selected, especially with things close together.

the problem is it isn't after you click - it should retain the information from before the click and show that instead of "none selected" then at least

This is an obvious must have "feature".

Tired of using the word feature to be honest.

Its all easy now .... simply submit your vote ....
If its really a must have feature it will be at the top by the end of the week ....
If most think other things are more important first then it wont ...

You now have the power !!
