It's a big ask but I have a special needs little boy I've been designing games for and I've run out of options with coins, stars and rabbits.

I need big, bold 3D letters and numbers, similar in size to the coins in GameGuru, with easy skinning so I can change colors etc.

Willing to pay if someone has the right price. Needs to be royalty free (commercial/non commercial) and if I'm paying and you don't want to sell via the store, then I would expect to pay an exclusivity price. If you intend to sell then we'll need to haggle some.

Any games created with them will be implemented in my son's school as well for other special needs kids to use - free of charge.

It's 36 models so think carefully before considering whether you can help me. Like I said, I'm willing to pay but if no-one can help me I should probably sink some time into a GFX package and get it done myself. That task is long overdue anyway.

I don't know if Wizardofid has already sorted this for you but if not I may be willing to do for you. No charge if they are for educational use. These items are easy in Sketchup if you want to have a go yourself.

Awesome offer grobyken and yes, wizard did make a set up for me - quickly and professionally too I might add.

Although, more variety won't hurt either so if you're in need of a set for yourself then I'd be happy to be in receipt. I urge, don't go out of your way on my behalf though. Project is semi-back burnered atm due to work commitments so certainly no hurry anyway.

(And yes, it would be for educational purposes only)

Thanks mate.

EDIT
Forgot to mention, I'd need +, -, x, / (or the more traditional divide if possible) and = too.

OK then I'll have a go. Could you keep an eye on this thread as I will upload a sample to the shop when ready.

First thing though what kind of texturing do you want?

Also what font? When I was involved in the coding for primary school education CDs we always used Comic Sans MS as it has the required stick and ball format. Let me know

Is this the kind of thing you are looking for? By the way it is usual for lower primary to use lower case.

just in case anyone else wants to do 3d letters, numbers, symbols. You can easily do them in truespace. It's free and can export to .x

I've made quite a lot of letters, numbers and symbols via 3D Studio Max with manual UV mapping. Sadly its incredibly hard to upload to the store as I have to do multiple screenshots for each symbol/letter/number and multiple zip files for reach. Has taken me weeks and I haven't even completed uploading the alphabet for the post-apocalyptic set. I have tons more to upload. Hopefully a new pack system will be in place to make the progress easier on authors for uploading and packaging in the future.

What I have so far:

I have made clean sets with all colours and other types of textures too. All manually UV mapped.

Teabone

Really got to agree regarding the uploading. I have a lot of models that only really work as sets but cannot get the time to upload under the current system.

I have uploaded models such as the sewer, tunnel and cellar parts as individual then made packs but they only really work as a set.
