Hello,

I read, that it is possible, to create particle effects using TimeLineFX and use them in GG (done by Devcore35):

https://forum.game-guru.com/thread/212372

How do I have to set that up?
When I export an effect from TimeLineFX, I receive a zip file, containing the grafic files and an XML Document.

How might I have to proceed to get the particle effects working into GG?

Might someone have a hint for me?
That would be great.

Regards,
R.E.Z.

Open a decal in a paint program and see that is a series of individual texture that play from top left to right, then to the next row.
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), 8gb RAM, Nvidia gtx660, Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Hello,

@ Pirate Myke: Thank You. I opened a particle Effect file from a GG Mega pack and saw, that the *.dds file is a series of individual grafic-files.
With TimeLineFX I receive f.e. 3 different png-files. One conaining a series and two that are flares.
The *.xml file tells, how they work together to create the effect.

So how do I combine all these Grafic-Files together in the right way of the Particle Effect and also using the xml file?

Who has an Idea about this?
That would be kind

Hello,

Here's how to have a decal with this software in HD for use with the FX script "decal_animate4.fx".
Normally this should work

(See attachment for the setup image)

Then export all in PNG format.
With Paint.NET or Photoshop transformed image DirectDrawSurface (DDS).

Use the same configuration as the Decals GameGuru.

Enjoy!

Hello Devcore35,

where do I find this script: FX script "decal_animate4.fx"?
Is it part of GG or of TimLineFX?
Where do I have to look for it?
At GG I only found decal_facing.lua.
Might You help me with this?
That would be great
