Anyone been testing GG on Win 10?

For me everything works fine except when trying to download items from the store. Like it takes forever - seriously forever.

For example the medieval mega pack took nearly three hours! The only reason I waited was because I had office work to do at the time. However I just bought some items from the store including the Cartoon Modular Building Pack, and when I started the download in GG, the Arch and Floor items, took almost 30 minutes, then started on the Chimney item, but then I just gave up!

Everything else works great - editor, testing, and builds all work seamlessly!

Not worried about it, just testing it out, everything is fine on the same machine running 8.1.

So what has been your experience so far with GG on Win 10.

Wow, hmm, I wonder if it is a server issue then.

Yesterday I tried to buy points from the store from GG site, and entered an endless loop of not logged in and no items selected scenarios. I ended up going to the TGC site and bought them there.

Anytime I download anything from Steam it caps my download speed at around 1 Mb/s. Everything takes forever from there for me! GTA 5 took over a day!

@Jerry Tremble - I downloaded Max Payne 3 a while ago (30GB) and it took a week, so I'm looking at least 2 weeks if and when I get GTA V. A day for GTA V? You're lucky Your download speed is probably 1MBps, not 1Mbps, which is what I get.

No, unfortunately, I only get 9Mbs to the house total and I can happily stream hi-def Netflix while downloading anything from Steam. With or without anything else on the LAN, the Steam downloads are fairly consistent, and they hover in the 1 Mbs range. It was more like a day and a half plus for GTA V!

(I'm approximately 5400' from the DSLAM. I could get 12 or 20(bonded) but I don't want to spend the money. The funny part is I actually have a DSLAM practically in my back yard! But, no, I have to be fed from over a mile away! )
