The current process for selecting elevations for terrain painting is inadequate . We need to be able to specify a specific elevation above or below grade (zero). The selection should be in units above/below grade. The current selection process requires the user to try to find an elevation by pure guess work.

We need to click on the current elevation icon and then be given the chance to select an elevation from a drop down graphic scale with marks indicating elevations in 5 or 10 unit marks above/below the water table (Grade zero).
I have seen requests for a better elevation selection at times in the forum but never any reaction from TGC (that I am aware of, but some times I miss things).

Is there any solution of this problem being considered?

As you say, there have been man requests for this. I am sure it is on there list somewhere. as to the state of when, I dont have that answer.

Thanks for the suggestion, and I am going to move this thread to the feature creep section for better attention.
