I have been playing around with the EXE generating component using a WIP project and I have a few suggestions for some tweaks:

- increase the size of the "loading" progress indicator. Right now it is quite small and especially hard to see against a white background.

- Incorporate a "video breakout key". Right now there is no way (as far as I know) to "breakout of" a playing video. While very useful the first time or so
most players replaying the game will want to skip an intro video etc.

- any reduction in the loading time of the actual game would be great.

If there are ways to address the issues above - please advise.

Thanks

Hi Yankee1950

Loading times should cut down during development and optimisation so sorry there is no quick fix for that at the moment ...
Editing your own loading screens is possible if you just back up the original files located below.
The skip video hot key is a great idea when I tested it I used a big file and wasn't able to skip so I know what you mean..

C:\program files\ steam \ steamapps \ common \ GameGuru \ Files \ Languagebank \ english \ artwork ......
For the main Splash Screen

C:\program files\ steam \ steamapps \ common \ GameGuru \ Files \ titlesbank \ default.
For the loading screens

Don't forget ... you must edit the screens "Before" you create your
standalone game so back the originals up first..

Hope that helps

LOL, I can't imagine testing a level without being able to bypass any videos that might be involved!
