Hi there is it possible if we could get Freaks and Abominations from FPSCx9 to work in GG?

Was able to get them in Game Guru and look fantastic! When I apply a script to them for instance like the zombie script they do not attack. They just follow you, backwards. So it looks like all that is needed is someone decent at scripting to get these guys good and working for GG. I'm sure new users of GG would love to buy them too.

I just personally need to script them in , since i already own them. I just dont know where to begin. Hope TGC considers rectifying these awesome models that bond has worked on.

I think some of these have already been converted in the 3rd party models and media section ...
I will move your thread over for a better result ..

Ah I just noticed how GG uses its animations. The CSI list:

csi_relaxed1 =
csi_relaxed2 =
csi_relaxedmovefore =
csi_cautious =
... and so on.

I'm getting some progress out of them now matching up the correct animation cycles. Still no attack yet but I bet that's due to the animations not being complete that its looking for. If anyone else has worked on these let me. Otherwise I'm going to spend the night trying to get each working. Which I dont mean. I need a bit of a LUA dive anyways lol

EDIT: Got the Lobotomy character working! Walking and attacking. That was quick and easy and mostly made possible by making changes in the FPE rather than the LUA.

For some reason the dogman floats a bit.

I'll post a video up when I get each of them working.

I unfortunately don't have a list of what each animation does for each model so I have much testing to do. I have discovered some pretty awesome animations that were not included in the original FPI scripts of these guys. Like for instance the straight jack guy has a cycle of animation where he is kneeling and moving violently in the straight-jacket. I don't recall that in the stock scripts - other than him just kind of sitting there. If I can make a live of what each animation does I can take a look at the LUA and see if I can do some cool stuff with these guys that were not in FPSC-Classic.

Sadly though.. my LUA scripting abilities are very weak lol I'm currently referencing from the zombiewalk.lua script but I noticed there is some problems with it when used on certain characters (even the zombie stock ones for GG).

Haha I remember buying this pack like 6 years ago, the video at the top of the thread gave me some feelings of nostalgia

One of the best model packs!

Did anyone work on a list of what each animation set does for the Freaks and Abominations? I tried looking on the old forums and couldn't find this resource. It takes a very long time to test each set of animations, of which there are quick a lot for each action in these models.

this is the lobo guy

and dante

i missed some that i thought weren't really useful but that's the majority
you can use this script to cycle through quickly with the 'e' key to play each animation

Thank you so much this is so helpful! Much appreciated.

I am experiencing some issues however with the scripting side of things because I'm referencing zombiewalk.lua which I think is broken since the latest version of GG. Some of those zombies don't attack/inflict damage and animate incorrectly. Hope that gets fixed in the next version.
