i wanted to make that thread yesterday i was waiting for this movie a long time since i saw the trailer. it's a nice backstory to this movie project.
this movie is free on youtube and it's worth watching when you like trashy 80's stuff like far cry blood dragon and david hasselhoff . it's a great funny movie.

ja stimmt. aber leider kurz mit 30 minuten

one thing i'm still unsure about is the scene where the two german soldiers are talking. they speak everything but german. i wonder if this is planned or if they just had no interest in making it sound believable. the movie is so absurd and crazy, i wouldn't wonder if this was their intention to make it sound ridicolous because the rest of the german stuff ("meine familienjuwelen!") is right. many american movies have germans villains in it but they have poor german language skills because they are not german. best examples are "Wolfenstein 3d" and "Wolfenstein" (from 2009). the games are kinda nice but germans laugh about the dubbing and the signs for example. in "wolfenstein" there is a sign where you can read: "Basteln sie ihr eigenes hasenkaninchen" and that's total nonsense. i think i'll make an own thread about this

The german in the movie is clearly fabricated to sound hilarious. "Dein Moustache..." and its indeed a nod to bad dubbing in b-grade ww2 flicks and games.

that's great acting when this guys "mustaasch" is depreciated and he starts to cry.
