I'm looking for a basic, simply inventory script for a game I'm making.
Nothing fancy, just pick up items along the way and have it show that I've collected the items. Doesn't need to do anything else. Anyone know where I can get a script like this? Thanks!

Would be nice. Not sure if GG supports multiple images yet within LUA.

I've considered putting a PnP script together but there are just too many variables and limitations to make it worthwhile without ending up with support requests way beyond what I'm prepared to handle. Rumour has it that Lee has a basic inventory system planned but without getting down and dirty with code it's unlikely to be a one size-fits all option for anyone.

Not only do you have to manage the entities via name (which requires a strict naming convention and funky parsing code) it's also what people want to do with the inventory. Use, drop, multiple count, save to next level etc. etc... It's fun for coders to roll-their-own but I think the lack of inventory scripts speaks for itself.

@Teabone - I utilised a combination of the single image and panels/text in this thread. Might be some ideas worth pursuing?

going to agree with !nullptr on that, without a very clear idea of what you want it really is too varied to get anything up that is guaranteed to work as you expect.
