Hi Guys:

I am trying to "spawn" a zombie character when the player gets close to its position. When tested - I hear the audio file for the zombie - but do not see the actual zombie. I have the "Spawn at start" property of the zombie set to "No" and I am calling the "spawnwhenclose" script for the zombie. Can anyone tell me if I am doing this correctly or not - what am I missing?

Thanks

I don't use them but I just quickly tried this too, expected a spawn and no deal. Not about to worry about why

Maybe just use a trigger zone in the interim?

1) Give zombie a name in properties, spawn set to no
2) Add trigger zone and place zombie name from step 1 in If Used property of zone.

If you make the zone big enough and place zombie to center you will get the same effect and also be able to run the zombie on it's own script without switching after it spawns.

Hi !nullptr:

Thanks for the info - will use the technique you mentioned - I am going to also report the "spawnwhenclose" script as "apparently" not working.
