Current real-time shadows are pretty nice, but sun is only light source that make entities cast real-time shadows? Can I make entities cast additional shadows from extra light-sources? Not pre-baked shadows, they not work on dynamic objects, but real-time alike shadows? Or real-time shadows will work only by global light source?
P.S. sorry for bad english, I am from Russia

Hi NikkoSin
As far as I am aware casting shadows from another source is not possible at this time .
Lighting however is still in its infancy in GameGuru and will improve vastly with lots more options as development continues.

Infancy wow, you can still get some pretty amazing effects by place the lights carefully and assigning different scripts to lights....
the script below works great, make sure you read the full post

There are scripts on the script board that you can control dynamic lights, flickering, on and off, other things.

Problem with Rolfy is he does things that have the Devs stumped
At the moment I cannot even get a shadow indoors from a light entity ....let alone a swinging lamp ..
I have no idea how rolfy managed this ... Custom shading and scripts I would imagine ..
But that's what I meant by lighting is in its infancy .... as development continues we will be able to get these great effects with ease.

He does seem a very clever designer, some of his artwork is incredible.

In Rolfy's video he stated that that shadow is generated from the sun, what was the important thing is now the characters cast shadows on the pillars and walls also.

If I am correct, I believe Rolfy achieved the result by baking the shadows in MAX (3D software) and then used these baked maps as an animated texture.
I could be wrong however.
