Hi,

It seems that the search settings only searches the subject heading.

I just thought it would be nice to be able to search the forum threads by a keyword and or a keyphrase.
You could have some checkboxs to choose your search option if required.

i.e. Search: Subject Title Subject Field

So if you are in the Scripts board, it only shows results from within that board.

Something like this would be very useful for the Script Board for code examples.

Thanks,
That punch list must be getting long.
Keep up the good work.

Until the forum search function is updated there is a workaround using Google's "site" search (you may already be doing this but others could find it handy): site:forum.game-guru.com search term

So, if I wanted to find posts about the script keyword "ShowImage" I would type in "site:forum.game-guru.com ShowImage" which would yield a bunch of results.

I didn't realise you could search like that.

My pleasure, guys. I have this saved on my bookmark toolbar in Firefox right next to my GG bookmark. Basically, I just put a Google bookmark there first and then right-clicked it and changed the Properties so that "Location:" has the following string:

Now when I click on that bookmark it loads Google with "site:forum.game-guru.com searchterm" filled in, so I double-click on "searchterm" to change it, then press Enter to do the actual search. As 3Com says, it's an old hack, but then so am I, lol.
