Greetings, ok. so i have managed to take models and textures from the fpsc models pack thanks to help from the site moderators. however now i am having issues with the scripts used to control the ai etc.

it would appear they are in a different type of format (.fpi) is there a simple way to convert that script into lua so that it is useable within GameGuru.

i have also managed to import two guns and animations into the engine but the textures don't seem to be working, instead i get a chromatic texture

but anyway. i also wanted to show two screen shots of some work.

dunno if its good or not. but i still worked hard on it.

but anyway. if anyone has a solution to the problems above i would greatly appreciate it, since I've been asking quite a bit of you guys .

P.S. i did try google, but the best thing i could find was an online converter tool, which gave me many many many errors.

Screen shots look nice.

There is no fpi to lua converter, best best would be to goto the script board and post one of your conversions and see what the scripters have to say. What commands are attached to the engine right now can be seen in the gloabal.lua file located in the scriptbank folder.

Texture naming format is like this now.
Diffuse - _D instead of _d2
Specular - _S instead of _I if it was using the bond1 shaders before
Illumination - _I
Normal - _N

The best thing for the weapons is to duplicate a weapons folder and change the contents to match your weapon.

hmm, well the textures files include all of the names you mentioned, _D, _D2, _I, _N, _S.

seems to be there which is confusing if its both haha

which gun folder did you copy to make this happen. The D2 file is not needed any more, may be causing some issues.

Which classic weapon did you use?
