why I cannot display this model

I converted it in .x and I placed all textures into the folder and create the .fpe file but when I put it into the editor I have nothin

I view it correctly in mview, deep exploration and Sap with all textures displaied correctly but into GGeditor I have nothing

first i think multitexture is supported by a limited number of textures. I don't know the exact number, but i think its five or six.
Second. I see png format, and i think Gameguru works the best with DDS or jpg format.

There was a thread on steam or here about this, i will search for that. and let you know if i found that.

thanks Harry but i dont think these are the cause isnce i exported the same models from .fbx format and it works fine into GG with same .png texrues and with all textures I have into this..

try removing the effect line in the fpe file, delete the associated dbo and bin file and retest.

Just tried.. not results

the main problem is that even model is not showed into editor when I secect it..I have only the mouse pointer

Is this a put together model from one of the old Model packs?

What modeling program you using? maybe it's the .x exporter.

nope.. this is a model I purchased from arteria 3d

and I 'm not using any modeling program but only sap visual enterprise to eport/convert them...


but I 'm doing the same with many other models with no problems ( and always made the same in th past)

Ok, I am going to download this viewer you are using, maybe it will give me a clue. You are exporting with the textures?

Also you need a castle.bmp file, and Autoflatten=0 in fpe file, or you will get terrain removed when place it.
And I need some sort of slavi girlfriend.
Not sure about transparency=0.

castle.bmp is only fo editor preview and I tried with autoflatten = 0 and commenting transparency but with no success...

btw I mamange to import it and make it to work in gg but I noticed that when I try to enter certain are of the caslte I cant go into them like there is an invisible wall I cannot go trought??

can this caused by pivot point of the models ??

More likely the collision mode needs to be set to 1 for polygon collision.
Change it and delete the dbo and bin file for those entities, and retest.

just tried setting collisionmode to 1 and deleted bin and dbo but same results..

other models imported with same settings works fine ,,I think that is the model that is wrong

so I asked if caa be the pivot point or something other

Perhaps you model has problems with normal, if so, you'll need a 3d soft for fix it.
I suggest you ask in the 3d arteria forum better.

Couple of things. Because this is a grouped mesh, the model has a material list, that material list needs to correspond with the correct textures, so converting a model from one format to the next will not necessarily keep that material list and in turn, cause model corruption.

Models also needs to be centered in a model editor, and you also need to confirm the model is the correct size, there should be no reason for the model not to show up even with texture corruption the model should show up black.

It's very likely that the size isn't correct, I suggest importing the model in your favorite model editor and importing an AI character to confirm that the model is the correct size.
