3rd Party Models/Media Chat / old fps creator x9 declas on Gameguru with decal_animate4.fx..is possible??

with the 0-28 realese and the addon of 'decal_animate4.fx' which will animate 4x4 decal animations I suppose that we can now import and use all fpsx9 decals and sprites since there was in 4x4 frames or I'm wrong??

so i'm trying to to import one decla from benge sprites specifially blacksmoke but with no results
I copied all blacksmoke files from the old fpsc folder and created a new fpe file lik this


but it doesnt works

any tips??

Try in this format and see if it works for you. You will need to match the contents of a new decal folder. should be the same except the actual new decal your trying to replace.

Here is the new FPE format for decals:
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz, 2400 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s), 8gb RAM, Nvidia gtx660, Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Yes they work fine with the new Fx (really well actually).

I don't know what the .x mesh will be but I just used a flat quad and it worked OK - the billboard lua file is in the script bank already (it's called - decal_facing.lua not decal_flat.lua as in PM's fpe).

I assume the decalhandle.dds and the Decal.X will allow us to see the decal from within editor more easily (as they are flat/vertical) - but as these don't appear to have been released yet, will have to wait I guess. It will work without these though as explained above - just harder to see from top down editor mode.

I'm attaching all fpsc x9 "blacksmoke"related files ( the ones into entiybank and gamecore folders)

can you please arrange the effect for me and upload the files so I can use them as tutorial for all other my decals??
