I see a lot of games that are not using normal maps, so i figured I would share this gem. Enjoy. I use it all the time for props etc. It will create normal maps from images as well ambient occlusion, specular etc. You can also outo set it to end your images with _n etc

P.S up the strength of your normal maps as Guru seems to weaken them.
P.S I did not join in 2015. Ive been backing this project from day one. When I switched to steam it messed up my account....... Just so ya know

Mindtex is very cheap at £10.99 compared to others like Crazybump ..... It does pretty much everything you would need with ease

The coffee is lovely dark and deep,and I have code to write before I sleep.

Sorry it doesnt work for you. Works fine on windows 8. Maybe try downloading an older version or the new 4.0 version. Ya Xnormal is ok also. I use it for tangent models sometimes. But for quick normal mapping just images and having a model preview on the same window. I have found nothing better then this.
P.S I did not join in 2015. Ive been backing this project from day one. When I switched to steam it messed up my account....... Just so ya know
