Scripts / Looking for ammo count and/or fire count.

Scripting up a high score system for one of my kids games and for the life of me cannot find the vars for remaining ammo or at the very least when I fire so I can decrement the count manually.

Can anyone point my in the right direction?

there is a script that carried over weapons and ammo quantity on this script board somewhere, But I cant find it. Have you tried g_PlayerAmmo? I have asked the Dev's also.

Thanks myke. I tried everything I could find documented and many that aren't (including some choice variables that would make a pirate blush)

Did several searches including Google to no avail.

I have seen this script work, I have had it on my machine. I will look again, cause it would have had to call it to store it, for the Level jump. I will find it, or the dev's will give me the answer, when they wake up soon. And this Pirate don't Blush, I have seen it all Living by Los Angeles for 20 years.

I had found something like "g_PlayerGunCount = 0", but nothing like "g_PlayerAmmoCount = 0", it would help a lot.

It is read internal some how, and I cant find the script that carried over the weapons when level jumping.

Edit: Just found what I thought was it. A nifty little script from smallg, he could not find the ammo either, but did manage to be able to write stat info to a text file and call it up for the next level. They did not have a variable that we can call yet, but it is on the list now.

this could open doors for some other stuff that we can read of set our selves. I am just guessing here, but being able to write data and read data from a script brings up a lot of possibilities in my mind.

Not the answer needed, but useful info just the same.

Save game states wasn't too much of an issue. Having the data to put in the save state would be mighty handy.

I even tried setting a manual ammo load and trying to pick up when I fired but I can't seem to get access to that either.

I'll just have to wait I guess. Cheers guys.

Ammo count, lives count... That would be great. Also something for save and load...
Btw. Is there are way that when your live counter reaches 0 that you die?
