Hello. I was directed to post my Steam forum troubleshooting post here. I launch GameGuru, it check files for over an hour and I eventually get the error Runtime Error 1511.

Runtime Error 1511 during launch. - Please advise
I got this 2 or 3 weeks ago. It crash right away and I had to kill it in task manager. I check integrity of it's cache but that did not work so I deleted local content. It kept "checking files" d then I get (Runtime Error 1511 - Display cannot be created due to invalid function paramenter at line 0)

I never have a problem running anything. Here are my specs:

Operating System: Windows 8 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200) (9200.win8_gdr.130410-1505)
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Card name: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series
Chip type: AMD Radeon HD 7770 1gb Graphics Processor (0x683D)

I have my own suspicions on this one ... Could you please use the link below and Reinstall your Directx Runtime files..
Let me know what happens ..

I have reinstalled them as seen in the linked Steam forum post but did again from that link to no avail. GameGuru has been "....checking file for you." for one hour now. In another hour so it will once again generate that error.

I appreciate your reply. Hopefully the dump files will help solve the problems.

EDIT - I wonder if it something to do with the Steam Cloud or Steam. I have tried installing it on my master drive and my slave drive.
I have no way of exiting out of it. I went a whole week with my friends seeing I was 'Playing GameGuru'. I have to forceclose it via task manager.

I am willing to provide anything to help resolve my problem. I hope to hear fro support soon. I'm off to work and will check back around 8:00PM CST.
