The word GUI stands for ‘Graphical User Interface,’ used by game engines and multimedia applications, to send or/and receive information to/from users.
Now, with the GUI-Launcher, you may show, during the game play, some information to the user or player, such as, Mission Objectives (Primary and secondary) or Mission Data, Overview, Maps, Screen shots, and Videos related to the current game level.
Therefore, the player is informed about what him/her should accomplish during a specific mission.
This program also helps to save your time, to make other things you like or need, instead to have a hard time with Lua programming or any other programming language.
The brand-new GUI-Launcher Version 2.0.0 is now shipped with ten art skins' templates: Metallic, Forest Camo, Desert Camo, Rusted and Cartoon, as well as, their respective blank skins, for best customization.
Besides, twenty one background template images ( seven images x three display resolution ( 1920x1080 pixels, 1600x900 pixels and 768 pixels)
What’s new with the version 2.0.0
- Minor bug fixes
- New speech button, to play an audio voice file, if you have any one available and its volume control buttons.
-A Horizontal Scroll bar will appear automatically, if necessary, avoiding the text occlusion in the text window.
- Now, after the player turns-off the background music, it no longer plays once again, when the user enables the slide show or video, unless him/her turn it on once more.
- With this release 2.0, the player may use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down the text within the text window, without to exit from the application.
- Now is possible display background images, instead the plain grey colour, for display resolution: 1920 x 1080 pixels; 1600 x 900 pixels and 1366 x 768 pixels.
- It includes 21 original templates for background images ( seven images x three display resolution (1920x1080 pixels, 1600x900 pixels and 1366x768 pixels) )
- Also was created the Turn-Off button and shortcuts to exit from GUI-Launcher, any time.
- It was added a Cartoon skin and a Cartoon template for background image.
- The app had its documentation updated (pdf file format), and with some video tutorials, explaining, step-by-step, how to use the program.
Notice:This application, at this time, doesn't work properly for multiplayer gaming, made with GameGuru.
