I've been browsing the store and some of the stuff people have created is pretty impressive, I was just wondering how I could go about creating stuff like this for myself? What kind of software could I use?

Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you

Blender is probably best as its free and very powerful.
But some say its tricky to get to grips with...

Sketchup can also be used if your familiar with that ..
The only person ever to get all his work done by "Friday" was Robinson Crusoe..

Check the stickied post in this thread for unfamilla's tutorials at the end of it you will have created an object in blender, textured it and have it working in game
