Product Chat / Do I have to download Game Guru through Steam?

Steam will not allow me to link my game creators account to my Steam account. (presumably because they are different email addresses).

actually scrub that, my account seems to have linked successfully after all but i am seeing no link to download game guru either on steam or the link from this forum.

If you are a previous pledger you will find your Steam key at: http://www.thegamecreators.com/?m=steam_keys

Copy the key, then launch Steam and go to the Library window. You can then click Add A Game > Activate a Product on Steam. Follow the steps and insert the key when prompted.

Yes thanks. Just started the download. Slow or what. I have a 50 meg feed from Virgin but the download speed from Steam is a low 100 kbytes. Rubbish

My downloads from Steam always hover around the 1Mb/sec. mark no matter what else I'm doing. I suspect they cap it at their end.
